LONDON’S BRICK LANE BLOCK PARTY RETURNS BIGGER AND BETTER THIS SUMMER

On Saturday 24 August, Brick Lane Block Party returns with a bang for its biggest edition yet. This year, The Block Party is back at the cobbled Streets of E1, and is set to create more of a festival-like experience by including more of the Truman Brewery. 

Two new exciting spaces will be introduced this year; Ninety One (formerly Vibe Bar) and multi-genre event space Juju’s which will be open until 4am, ideal for anyone that’s looking for an all-night rave experience. This year, Cafe 1001 invites internationally renowned DJ Marcia Carr, alongside rising sensation A For Alpha, whose distinct 90s house sets will have you shaking a leg throughout the night. Cafe 1001’s resident party starter, Blue Ringed Baby will be spinning tunes too. 

London collective Off The Cuff are taking over the Brick Lane Tap Room, delivering classic pub hits perfect for sipping a crisp pint. Sleazy Disco will be hosting a spectacular drag disco with queer dance party experts Sue Veneers. Free pizza slices are available for anyone who works up an appetite from the dancing.

Spanish sensation DREA will perform an exclusive set at 91 Living Room, following their iconic Boiler Room performance. DREA will be joined by GEE LEE, with Kojay b2b P-Lucas rounding up a sensational lineup. The Bar 91 courtyard will also be transformed into a captivating space, offering entertainment, drinks, and food all night long.

To end the night, Juju’s will be converted into a warehouse venue with a state-of-the-art sound system. Toy Tonic’s  Cody Currie will be the headliner, offering his signature blend of house and jazz. He will be joined by Tim Garcia, who has been showcasing a new, fresh wave of UK music.
