Progressive house duo Modera dropped their breathtaking second album, Together, Apart on 8 August.
The striking 10-track album was released via Enhanced Music’s progressive and deep house imprint Colorize, and sees the Seattle-based pair dial up their signature blend of lush melodies and crystalline progressive sound design.
Following their highly acclaimed 2023 debut album From Walks of Life, this new project is a bold step forward, which crafts a deeply emotional and immersive experience that cements their place as rising stars in the electronic music world. Together, Apart explores themes of longing and connection, with each track weaving intricate soundscapes that resonate deeply with the listener’s heart.
The album kicks off with the evocative opener ‘Prelude’, setting the tone for what’s to come. Other highlights include the radiant ‘I Don’t Mind’ , and the emotionally charged ‘All She Wrote’, both showcasing Modera’s ability to blend groove with deep emotional pull. The album also features stunning collaborations with producer, DJ and singer/ songwriter Blonde Maze on the title track ‘Together, Apart’ and the ethereal ‘The Space Between Us’.
Speaking on the album, Moderna told us; “This album is about finding unity in separation. Together, Apart represents the duality of human connection in a modern world—how we drift, how we return, and how music can hold it all.”
