De La Noise and Dems have unveiled their debut collaborative single, ‘Without Borders’, released 16 October 2026 via Afroholic and Amajoyo Records. A longstanding presence in the Dutch electronic landscape, De La Noise has spent over two decades honing a sound that traverses Afro House, Afro Tech, and uplifting house, defined by meticulous production and an innate sense of rhythm. His performance history includes appearances at Ultra Europe, Pacha on Tour, Ulu Cliffhouse Bali, Warp Tokyo, and Amsterdam Dance Event, complemented by extensive touring in South Africa. Through his Amajoyo imprint, he has supported emerging talents including Nitefreak, Kasango, and Kususa. Dems, active as both DJ and producer, shapes Afro House and Afro Tech productions that balance melodic depth with club-focused energy. His work has drawn support from Black Coffee, Bun Xapa, Kasango, and Marco Carola, with releases on Into Art, Olumo, and Under The Hat.
Before this official collaboration, De La Noise and Dems had already explored multiple projects together in the studio. A TikTok preview of ‘Without Borders’ attracted notable attention from established artists and industry insiders. The track’s title underscores its dual release on Afroholic and Amajoyo Records, timed to precede Amajoyo’s Afroholic showcase at ADE by one week. On 23 October at Soulkitchen Amsterdam, De La Noise will join NiteFreak, Wilson Kentura, Thami The Unknown, Elson Soares, Randoree, and Marinus, celebrating ADE’s 30th anniversary and spotlighting the convergence of African and European electronic music.
‘Without Borders’ kicks off with a filtered percussion sweep, drawing listeners into a moody groove that seamlessly connects Afro House and Afro Tech. The track pulses with deep, rolling drums and a powerful bassline, while lush synth layers drive its energy forward. A brief, suspenseful pause heightens anticipation before the chorus hits with force. Industrial synths weave in and out, amplifying the hypnotic, late-night rhythm that echoes the styles of Black Coffee, Shimza, and Nitefreak.
Dems and De La Noise shared: “We’ve worked on several projects and spent plenty of time in the studio together, but ‘Without Borders’ is our first official release together. We teased it on TikTok a while back, and the reactions were crazy. Big names started hitting us up asking for it, so we knew we had something special. The title says it all: music has no boundaries. So it only made sense to release it as a joint release between Afroholic and Amajoyo Records, one week before Amajoyo presents Afroholic at ADE. With this track and with the event, we’re bringing together the best of the African and European electronic scenes. ‘Without Borders’.”
