Yunosuke Senoo is Lycoriscoris, a deep house producer from Japan. His latest LP Chiyu has recently dropped and is already piquing the interest of tastemaker publications.
The young producer and photographer has a reputation for intelligent sound design, and seamlessly blends technology with nature. Effortless meshes of naturalistic themes meet loving layers of instrumentals, all playing into his unique language of sound.
The title of the album roughly translates from Japanese to “recovery” or “healing” and of this he says:
“I think I’m implicitly seeking sympathy, so if I can “recover” with this album, I think it will have the same effect if someone sympathizes with me.
