Swedish melodic house producer Klur, real name Patrik Kindvall, unleashes his second full-length album After The Rain today, October 3rd, via Colorize. Building on his 2022 debut Visions, this project sharpens his approach to blending synthetic elements with natural audio layers and resonant melodic lines, a hallmark of the melodic house scene which emphasizes emotional depth through harmonies and atmospheric builds at around 125 BPM. Coming from Stockholm, Klur has carved out a spot in electronic music with his mix of progressive influences and tech house undertones, amassing over 100 million Spotify streams and earning nods as one of Sweden’s top 100 fastest-rising songwriters according to STIM. His tracks consistently rank among the most spun on SiriusXM Chill, and he’s drawn backing from key players like Lane 8, Above & Beyond, Black Coffee, and Armin van Buuren. With more than a million monthly listeners on Spotify, Klur has solidified Colorize as his base, evolving from early cuts like ‘Summit’ and ‘Odysée’ into streaming staples such as ‘Floating’, ‘Entangled’, and ‘Roots’.
The album’s rollout featured a series of singles that highlight Klur‘s talent for crafting immersive, melody-driven productions. Lead-off ‘Sequoia’ incorporates environmental recordings with stacked synth work and hints of psychedelia for a textured vibe. Next up, ‘Impossible’ teams him with LA vocalist LeyeT, layering ambient pads and steady grooves beneath her expressive singing. ‘Unbound’, done with frequent partner BJOERN, ramps up the emotional pull through dynamic progressions and refined soundscapes. The title track ‘After The Rain’ pairs Klur with Norwegian pianist Ole-Bjørn Talstad, merging ambient touches with melodic house rhythms to showcase his growth in fusing genres.
Klur shared: “This album feels like a natural continuation of Visions, but also a leap forward. Each track represents a piece of a journey—personal and sonic. ‘After the Rain’ for me brings that feeling of starting fresh, finding new inspiration in both new and old ideas and just letting the music guide me somewhere raw and real.”
Looking ahead, Klur plans to bring his sound stateside with a North American tour kicking off early 2026, with dates to follow soon.
