Label head & singer snny has released new song

Label head and rising international musician, snny has shared his latest piece of work with the world: ‘Postmodern Black’. Titled in tribute to the Bell Hooks essay, ‘Postmodern Blackness’, the single was premiered via FLAUNT Magazine and is taken from his upcoming debut album.

In a recent interview with The Playground, snny revealed the deep passion he carries for the work he does: “I create art out of instinct, and necessity. Imagination is the most necessary tool we have. Everything that we know started with an idea. For me art is water.” You can read the full interview here.

Looking at it as an objective art piece, ‘Postmodern Black’ is a complex piece of work with layers of genres, social commentary and inspiring beats coming together to create an ode to individualism.
