VIVA ACID ZOOMS IN ON CHICAGO’S ACID HOUSE SCENE WITH 4TH ANNUAL TALKS AND WORKSHOPS

Viva Acid returns this October for the fourth installment of their annual talks and workshop series. Viva Acid are event organisers and cultural pioneers with a specific focus on Chicago. This year, they’ll be highlighting Chicago’s enigmatic acid house scene across four days, from October 3rd – 6th at the Podlasie Club

The theme is “Transcending Scarcity to Build Resilient, Flourishing Ecosystems through Collective Creativity”. Viva Acid have curated a spectacular lineup of events, workshops and discussions with the aim to cultivate innovation and community. The topics of discussion include Maximising Reach to Marketing Authenticity, while the workshops will highlight music production, with topics such as Approaching Remixing and Creating What You Hear. These workshops and talks will be hosted by industry legends such as Gene Farris, DJ Hyperactive, Radio Slave and Glenn Underground, ensuring that attendees receive as much value and knowledge as possible. 

On Thursday, 3 October the documentary Children Of Acid will premiere. It’s a deep-dive documentary about the history and future of Chicago’s acid house scene. The documentary was produced by Viva Acid in partnership with production company Baffe

There will also be performances by the likes of Radio Slave, Flores Negras, Lauren Flax b2b DJ Slugo, Steve Noah, Microdot, Glenn Underground and many more, so make sure to book your tickets today!
