Raz Ohara Unleashes ‘Ignited’ – A Bold Step Toward Memories of Tomorrow

Today, June 27, 2025, Berlin’s own Raz Ohara drops his latest single ‘Ignited’ through House Of Frequency, giving us another taste of his upcoming album Memories of Tomorrow. Known for stacking vintage analogue synths and warped, immersive textures, Ohara’s been carving out a unique lane in the electronic scene. His first single ‘Beyond and Deep Down’ already turned heads with a premiere on Electronic Groove and spins on Radio Eins, and with over 30 million streams under his belt, plus a summer residency locked in at Babel in Ibiza, this year’s shaping up to be massive. From collaborations with names like Apparat, Chilly Gonzales, and Acid Pauli, to steering projects like The Odd Orchestra and Feathered Sun, Ohara pulls from Nina Simone and ambient vibes, hooking fans of Moderat, Bonobo, and Connan Mockasin with his genre-bending sound.

Ignited hits with a warm, uplifting pulse, riding a tight bassline that locks in with swirling organic percussion. Arpeggiated synths dart through the mix, while Ohara plays with the arrangement—stacking and peeling back layers to keep the energy shifting. His vocals, smoky but with a wide-open echo, bring a raw, determined edge that lifts the track’s dreamy core into something gripping.

Raz Ohara opened up about the single’s heart: “This song is about not losing the trust in ourselves. Every challenge or lesson we need to conquer throughout life is only as hard and difficult as each individual is able to take and solve it. We are perfectly equipped for it – we need to remember and rely on this – also you need to find the right practices that can help you to stay present, healthy, and strong.
