Bubba Brothers Bring Percussive Powerto Mossdeb Sounds with “Vicious”

With “Vicious,” Portuguese producer Bubba Brothers returns to Mossdeb Sounds with a release that reinforces his reputation for crafting rhythm-driven house built for serious dancefloors. Opening the label’s 2026 schedule, the EP delivers a focused two-track statement that blends tribal percussion with Afro house influences while maintaining a sharp club-ready edge.

The title track “Vicious” leads the charge with an immediately commanding groove. Rolling drum patterns create a hypnotic rhythmic backbone, while subtle melodic layers weave in and out of the mix, giving the track a sense of movement without ever distracting from its core percussive drive. The arrangement is clean and purposeful, designed to lock dancers into its groove from the very first bars.

On “Mad,” the release shifts toward deeper Afro-inspired territory. Here the percussion becomes more intricate, building a layered rhythmic structure that feels both organic and immersive. The groove unfolds patiently, allowing DJs plenty of room to blend and shape the track within longer sets. It’s a darker and slightly more hypnotic companion piece to the title track, reinforcing the EP’s dancefloor focus.

The Radio Edit of “Vicious” closes the package with a streamlined version of the lead track, keeping its infectious rhythm intact while delivering a tighter format suited for wider play.

With its balance of tribal intensity and Afro house depth, “Vicious” sets the tone for Mossdeb Sounds’ year ahead and highlights Bubba Brothers’ continued ability to deliver grooves that resonate with DJs and club crowds alike.
