Booka Shade announces a new EP “Red Medina / Acid Brain”

Booka Shade makes an instant return to their Blaufield Music imprint to deliver their second EP of 2020, ‘Red Medina / Acid Brain’.

 

Having already offered a first glimpse into the duo’s substantial plans for the year ahead with the release of ‘Dear Future Self’ in January it’s all about the future and new material for the Bluefield Music bosses, with a string of headline shows across Europe, the Middle East and Australia set to come in the weeks ahead. Up next, early March will welcome the second and final prequel EP as the legendary duo reveal two further tracks in the form of their latest release ‘Red Medina / Acid Brain’, with the unveiling of their major 2020 project set to follow imminently.

 

Lead cut ‘Red Medina’ opens proceedings as the pair work slow-blooming basslines with restrained percussion arrangements and brooding synth lines to create a dancefloor-driven production made for the floor, whilst ‘Acid Brain’ fuses hypnotic vocals, atmospheric breaks and builds, and further wandering lead synths to shape up the package in fine form.
